Early-access subscribers got them yesterday; everyone else sees them now. Each one was re-checked against the vendor's own page before it went live, and the quote on every card below comes from that page.

Six of the eight need no application. One is for students, and one is a startup program.

Web tools for agents

TinyFish (Free TinySearch and TinyFetch, plus $8 starting wallet funds for TinyAgent and TinyBrowser)

TinyFish sells web APIs for agents: search, fetch, a hosted browser and agent runs. TinySearch and TinyFetch are free at any wallet balance, within rate limits (TinySearch: 30 requests/min, 500 requests/hour; TinyFetch: 150 urls/min, 1,000 urls/day). New accounts also start with $8 in wallet funds, which pays for TinyAgent ($0.016 per step) and TinyBrowser ($0.002 per minute) before you add a card. It is now in the Browser agents pack and the AI agent infrastructure pack.

TinyFish ($35 in wallet credit at signup)

Students get $35 in wallet credit at signup if they use an eligible academic email address. Any currently enrolled student qualifies, at any school or country. The credit is applied automatically. Check the FAQ on TinyFish's student page for the supported academic domains. Added to the Student AI pack.

Nango (Free $0/month: 10 connections, 10 compute hours, 10GB data transfer)

Nango handles OAuth and API auth, tools and syncs for 1,000+ APIs and MCPs, which is the part of an agent that connects to a user's other apps. The free plan is hard-capped and resets monthly: 10 connections, 10 compute hours and 10GB of data transfer. Added to the agent infrastructure pack.

Coding tools

Zed (14-day Pro trial with $5 of hosted model usage)

Zed's Pro trial runs 14 days and includes $5 of hosted model usage, with no credit card. It ends when the $5 is used or the 14 days are up, whichever comes first. After that, Zed Personal stays free with your own API keys or external agents.

Greptile (500 free AI code review credits every month for 6 months)

Greptile reviews pull requests with AI. Its startup discount gives 500 free credits every month for 6 months, for pre-Series A companies with less than $2M revenue in the past 12 months. You apply inside the Greptile app. It is the only one of today's offers that needs an application. Added to the SaaS startup stack pack.

Email, hosting and media

Resend (Free plan: 3,000 emails/month (100/day))

Netlify (Free $0 forever: 300 credits/month)

Cloudinary (Free forever: 25 monthly credits, 3 users)

Resend (transactional email API): 100 emails/day and 3,000 emails/month on a free account. The quota counts sent and received emails.

Netlify: free forever with a 300 credit limit per month. The plan includes deploy previews, custom domains with SSL, functions and AI models, Netlify Database, Blob storage and a global CDN.

Cloudinary (image and video API): free forever with 25 monthly credits and 3 users, no credit card. The free plan lists access to Cloudinary's MCP servers.

Where to find them

Every free tier and signup credit from today, except the student and startup offers, is now in the Bootstrapped no-application pack:

Bootstrapped no application pack

This post puts the four big startup programs next to the plain signup trials anyone can get. We re-checked every source page on Oct 28, 2026, and none of the values below changed since our last check.

AWS (Up to $200,000 in AWS Activate Credits (additional credits for AI startups))

AWS (Up to $5,000 USD in Activate Credits (start with $1,000))

Cloudflare (Up to $350k in credits (tiers $10k / $100k / $350k; Workers AI up to $50,000))

Google Cloud (Up to $350,000 in Cloud credits over two years)

Google Cloud (Up to $350,000 Google Cloud credits over 2 years (AI-first: 100% up to $250,000 in Year 1))

Microsoft (Up to $150,000 in credits)

AWS (Up to $200 in credits ($100 at signup + up to $100 earned) over 6 months)

Google Cloud ($300 in free credit for new customers)

Microsoft Azure ($200 credit to use within 30 days + 65+ always-free services)

Microsoft Azure ($100 credit to use within 12 months, renewable yearly; no credit card)

Startup programs

Google Cloud has the largest headline: up to $350,000 over two years. The AI tier is aimed at AI-first startups using Gemini and has its own stage and age limits, so read its eligibility line before applying.

Cloudflare also goes up to $350k, in three tiers, and its entry tier needs no minimum funding. That makes it one of the few big programs a pre-funding team can realistically get.

AWS Activate goes up to $200,000 for pre-Series B startups, mostly through partners such as accelerators and investors. Self-funded founders can apply directly for up to $5,000 in credits (it starts at $1,000).

Microsoft for Startups lists up to $150,000 in credits.

No-application trials

If you just want to try a cloud this week, the signup trials need no review: $300 on Google Cloud, up to $200 on AWS (spread over six months), and $200 on Azure that must be used within 30 days. Students with a school email can get $100 a year on Azure without a credit card.

How to use this

Programs stack across vendors, so many teams apply to two or three and build where the credits last longest. Check each offer's source link for the current terms; we quote the vendor's page on every card and show when we last verified it.

It needs a browser to drive, somewhere to run code, and something to retry and schedule its steps. Most vendors in those layers offer a free allowance that needs only a signup. Three of them went public on Perq this morning: Steel and Hyperbrowser (cloud browsers) and Inngest (workflow orchestration). Each figure below is the vendor's own wording, checked on its page, with the date we last verified it.

Cloud browsers

Steel gives a one-time credit on its free Launch plan. Per its pricing page, that plan comes with 10 concurrent browser sessions, sessions up to 15 minutes and up to 3 seats.

Steel ($30 of credits, one time, on the free Launch plan ($0 per month + usage))

Hyperbrowser counts usage in credits. Its pricing page says 1,000 credits equal $1 of usage, and that the free allowance is enough for 50 browser hours or 5,000 fetched pages at base rates.

Hyperbrowser (5,000 credits with a free account (1,000 credits = $1 in usage))

For comparison, here are the browser and page-fetch free tiers we already list:

Steel ($30 of credits, one time, on the free Launch plan ($0 per month + usage))

Hyperbrowser (5,000 credits with a free account (1,000 credits = $1 in usage))

Browserbase (Free plan ($0/mo) incl. $5 in model tokens, 1,000 search/fetch calls)

Firecrawl (1,000 credits/month free)

A practical way to choose: Steel's credit is one-time, so it suits a short evaluation. Firecrawl's allowance is per month, so it suits a small agent that runs every day. Browserbase is a $0/mo plan with its own limits. Hyperbrowser gives a fixed pool of credits you spend at your own pace.

Running agent steps: workflows and sandboxes

Inngest's Free plan needs no credit card. Per its page it includes 5 concurrent steps and 3 workers alongside the limits below, and the SDK is open source.

Inngest (Free plan $0/mo: 50k executions, 500k events ingested, 5 seats per month)

If your agent writes and runs code, a sandbox matters more than a browser. These are the no-application options we track for workflows and sandboxes:

Inngest (Free plan $0/mo: 50k executions, 500k events ingested, 5 seats per month)

Trigger.dev ($5/month free credits (Free plan, $0/month))

E2B ($100 one-time usage credit (Hobby, no credit card))

Daytona ($200 in free compute included)

E2B and Daytona give one-time usage credits. Trigger.dev gives monthly credits. Inngest is a plain free tier measured in executions and events, not dollars.

The agent infrastructure pack

All three new offers are now in the agent infrastructure pack. It groups sandboxes, browsers, search, memory and orchestration, and shows the total only for offers that state one explicit one-time USD amount:

Agent infra pack

Also public today: watching and storing what the agent does

Four data and observability free tiers went public at the same time. They have been added to the data and observability pack:

Arize AI (AX Free: 25k trace spans and 1 GB ingestion per month, 15-day retention, unlimited users)

Sentry (Developer plan, Free $0: error monitoring and tracing for one user, with MCP access)

Turso (Free $0/month: 100 databases, 5GB storage, 500 million rows read and 10 million rows written per month)

Redis (Free Redis Cloud database, always $0, up to 30 MB)

Arize AX Free is aimed at LLM tracing and evals (unlimited users). Sentry's Developer plan is limited to one user and includes MCP access. Turso's free plan allows 100 databases, which suits one database per agent or per user. Redis Cloud's free database is capped at 30 MB.

Before you sign up

Free allowances change often. Each card above links to the vendor's page and shows when we last checked it. Read the current terms before you build on one.

One-time credits run out. If an agent runs on a schedule, note the date you start so you know when you will begin paying.

The seven offers above that went public today also joined the bootstrapped, no-application pack, since none of them needs an application.

Subscribers to Perq early access got these offers a day before they appeared here. You can sign up for early access by email or by webhook.

LiveKit's own page puts the program at up to $23K in infrastructure and inference credits for early-stage teams where voice, video or physical AI is the core of the product.

LiveKit (Up to $23K in infrastructure and inference credits: one year of the Scale plan ($6,000), $10,000 additional Cloud credits and $7,000 in inference partner credits)

What the $23K is made of

Per LiveKit's startups page, the total has three parts:

$6,000: one year of the Scale plan. Hosted agents, observability and telephony, with the $500/month fee waived.

$10,000 in additional Cloud credits.

$7,000 in inference credits. That is $1K with each participating inference partner: AssemblyAI, Deepgram, Fish Audio, Gemma, Gradium, Inworld and Rime.

The inference part only adds up to the full amount if you use all seven partners, so count the partners you would actually call when you estimate what the program is worth to you.

Who qualifies

LiveKit lists these requirements: fewer than 50 employees, under $5M raised and pre-Series A ($5M+ is reviewed case by case), a live website with a publicly identifiable founding team, and a product that is in production or launching within 6 months. Voice, video or physical AI has to be core to what you build, not a side feature.

How to claim

Apply with the "Apply now" button on LiveKit's startups page.

Other voice AI programs to apply to alongside it

LiveKit handles the realtime transport and agent hosting; most voice products also pay for speech-to-text and text-to-speech. These startup programs from the Voice AI pack are separate applications with their own rules. Values are each vendor's own wording, pulled from our dataset when the page is built.

Deepgram (Up to $100,000 in credits over 12 months)

AssemblyAI (12 months of recurring free credits + discounted startup pricing)

Cartesia (12 months on Scale: 8M Sonic/Ink credits/month + $299/month Managed Agents credits)

ElevenLabs (12 months free access: 33,000,000 characters (>$5,500 value))

Gladia ($3,000 in credits for 12 months + a dedicated Field Developer Engineer ($3,500 if referred by a Gladia VC Partner))

Not ready to apply anywhere? These need no application, so you can prototype before you have a website or a launch date:

Deepgram ($200 free credit, then pay-as-you-go)

AssemblyAI (Free tier: up to 185 hours pre-recorded + 333 hours streaming, no card)

Cartesia (Free plan: 20K credits/month)

Where to start

If you fit LiveKit's criteria, apply there first: it covers the realtime layer and includes credits with several speech vendors. Then apply to the speech programs you plan to use beyond those partner credits, for example Gladia's Startup Studio (fewer than 10 people, under 2 years since incorporation) or ElevenLabs' startup grant. While you wait for decisions, build on the free tiers above.

Six offers for that went public on Perq today: ClickHouse Cloud, CockroachDB Cloud, TiDB's AI startup program, New Relic, Pydantic Logfire and Grafana Cloud. We grouped them with the data and observability offers we already track into a new pack. Every offer was re-checked on the vendor's own page this morning (Oct 25, 2026); each card shows the quote we matched and when.

Data observability pack

Databases and warehouses

ClickHouse ($300 in ClickHouse Cloud credits for 30 days)

Cockroach Labs ($400 in CockroachDB Cloud credit for a 30-day trial)

Snowflake (30-day trial with $400 in free credits)

Databricks (Up to $400 in free usage on trial)

Neon (Free Postgres plan, no time limit, no card (100 CU-hours/project))

PingCAP (TiDB Cloud) (Up to $100,000 in TiDB Cloud credits)

The trials work differently from the free tiers, so it helps to know which clock you are on:

Time-boxed trial credit. ClickHouse Cloud gives new organizations $300 in credits for 30 days, and the trial ends when the credits are used up or the 30 days pass, whichever comes first. CockroachDB Cloud gives $400 for a 30-day trial, with no credit card needed for the Standard tier. Snowflake's trial is 30 days with $400 in free credits, and Databricks offers up to $400 in free usage on its trial. Start these when you have a real workload to test, not the day you sign up.

No time limit. Neon's free Postgres plan has no time limit and needs no card (100 CU-hours per project). MotherDuck's Lite plan starts from $0 for solo practitioners. These suit side projects and prototypes that may sit idle for weeks.

Startup program. TiDB's AI startup program offers up to $100,000 in TiDB Cloud credits to AI startups at the pre-seed to Series B stage. PingCAP decides who qualifies; the page lists fit criteria rather than hard rules.

Observability

Grafana Labs (Always-free Grafana Cloud tier: 10k active metric series and 50 GB logs per month, 14-day retention)

Langfuse (50% off entire Langfuse bill for 12 months)

Always-free tiers, no card. Grafana Cloud's free tier covers 10k active metric series and 50 GB of logs per month with 14-day retention. New Relic's free tier gives 100 GB per month of data ingest and one full platform user; on the free tier, ingest stops when you pass 100 GB until the next month or until you upgrade. Pydantic Logfire includes $20 per month of free usage (10 million spans, logs or metrics) on every plan, and its Personal plan is hard-capped at $0.

LLM-specific. Helicone's Hobby tier is 10,000 free requests per month. Langfuse's startup program is 50% off the entire bill for 12 months for early-stage teams that are bootstrapped or raised under $5M.

Startup program. Datadog for Startups offers a year of Datadog, up to $100k in credits, for early-stage companies.

Where to start

Based only on the eligibility and limits each vendor publishes:

Prototyping alone or without funding: pick from the no-card free tiers (Neon or MotherDuck for data, Grafana Cloud, New Relic or Logfire for telemetry). New Relic's free tier stops ingest at its cap and Logfire's Personal plan is hard-capped at $0, so a noisy job hits a limit instead of a bill there.

Evaluating a database for production: run the 30-day trials one at a time, so each trial's credit covers a real load test instead of expiring unused.

Funded AI startup: apply to TiDB's and Datadog's startup programs, which carry the largest stated amounts here. Approval and final amounts are up to each vendor.

This pack has no "up to" total, because it mixes trials, free tiers and applications; pick the ones that fit your stage. More data and observability offers are with early-access subscribers now and will join the pack once they are public. Subscribe to get new offers first.

That is how Evan Conrad of SF Compute put it in The end of startups, published October 22, 2026. He argues that within six months most AI startups won't be able to buy compute, and that lenders now ask for large upfront payments, in one case "as high as 100% of the contract". Keep in mind that SF Compute sells GPU capacity, and the post ends with a hiring note.

Here is what the public price data says, including the parts that point the other way, followed by the free credits that cut your bill today. Every figure links to its source; we read each one on October 23, 2026 (ET).

What the numbers show

Rental prices for the newest GPUs went up over the past month. Ornn's Compute Price Index, which is built from executed compute trades and settled October 23, 2026, puts the H100 SXM at $3.17 per GPU-hour (+3.9% over one month), the H200 at $5.74 (+14.3%) and the B200 at $9.58 (+20.5%).

List prices are moving one way. In its October 2026 GPU rental market report, FastGPU found that in the 60 days to October 10, every confirmed list-price change for the H100 SXM, H200, B200 and B300 was a rise, with median steps of 14.3% to 17.7% (10.4% for the B300). Its price-change log holds 81 rises against 4 cuts. One example: RunPod's on-demand B200 went from $6.79 to $7.99 per GPU-hour on October 8.

The squeeze started earlier. SemiAnalysis reported in April that one-year H100 rental contracts rose from a low of $1.70 per GPU-hour in October 2025 to $2.35 by March 2026, and that on-demand rental capacity was sold out across GPU types.

Conrad expects more of the same. "We expect GPU prices to rise," he writes, adding that "you can buy a B300 for $6/hr and then make about $30/hr selling inference on it", a margin he expects to shrink as rents go up. He doesn't give the model or utilization behind that estimate.

What points the other way

Older and cheaper cards are not in a crunch. FastGPU's GPU Cloud Price Index, which tracks the cheapest rentable price for each GPU, stood at 99.1, 0.9% below its August base, with 8 of 18 tracked GPUs cheaper. The floor held while list prices climbed (FastGPU).

Tightness eased this month. Bargo's Compute Tightness Index reads 52.0 out of 100 ("Balanced") as of October 22, down 5 points over 30 days. Spot H100, H200 and B200 listings sit 44%, 39% and 47% below on-demand prices. Bargo still describes capacity as "easing but remains far from abundant".

Token prices are not following GPU rents. On Ornn's token index (a blend of posted per-token prices, settled October 22), Anthropic sits at $0.70 per million tokens, down 53.3% over one month, and OpenAI was roughly flat.

Our read: if you rent H200- or B200-class GPUs on demand, expect higher list prices and less spare capacity. If you mainly call model APIs, your per-token prices have not risen with GPU rents. Either way, free credits are the cheapest compute you can get, and most of the ones below need no application.

Free GPU and inference credits you can claim today

The compute crunch pack groups them. Sign-up credits and free tiers come first, followed by startup and research programs that have eligibility rules.

The SaaS startup stack pack is a new pack for the rest of the product: the database layer, event streaming, auth, docs, video, customer support, internal tools, product analytics and the team workspace. Five of the ten programs (Prisma, Confluent, Mintlify, Mux and Zendesk) went public on Perq today. Every offer was re-checked on the vendor's own page this morning (Oct 23, 2026), and each card shows the quote we matched and when.

It is for incorporated startups that can fill in an application. Most programs have funding, age or headcount limits, and a few need a partner VC or accelerator.

Intercom (93% off year one, 50% year two, 25% year three; 300 free Fin outcomes/month)

Retool (100% off for one year, value up to $60K)

Mixpanel (Free first year, worth $145,000 (1B events, 1M session replays))

Notion (Up to 6 months free Business plan with Notion AI (up to $12,000 for 100 employees))

When to apply for each

This order is based only on the eligibility and claim steps each vendor publishes. Approval and final amounts are up to each vendor.

Programs with tight age or funding windows, first. Clerk's offer is for teams up to 1 year after launch with up to $5M in venture funding. Mintlify's is for startups founded in the past 2 years that have raised under $2M (the current Y Combinator batch gets 12 months free). Prisma covers your database bill for a year (up to $10,000) for pre-seed to Series A startups that raised in the last 12 months, or bootstrapped teams with at least 5k MRR for six months. If you are near any of these limits, apply before your next round.

Your data layer, when you start building. Prisma and Confluent both run for about a year (Confluent offers up to one year of Confluent Cloud with free product credits; its page doesn't state a dollar amount), so apply when you are ready to put real traffic on them.

Workspace and internal tools, early. Notion's offer is up to 6 months free on the Business plan with Notion AI; the 6-month tier needs a partner affiliation, the 3-month tier a business website and company email. Retool gives eligible startups a 100% off coupon for one year, with a value up to $60K.

Video, if your product needs it. Mux starts with $500 in credits for first-time recipients who are not existing customers, may be more depending on your investors, and the credits must be used within 1 year of activation.

Support and analytics once you have users. Zendesk for Startups is free for up to 2 years for new customers with Angel through Series B funding; the term and agent count depend on your funding profile and partner. Intercom Early Stage is 93% off in year one, then 50% and 25%. Mixpanel's startup plan is a free first year, which it values at $145,000. Because these clocks start when you are accepted, it can pay to wait until you have customers to support and events to analyse.

Before you apply

Read the eligibility line on each card. "New customers only", funding caps and company age are the usual reasons for a rejection.

Several of these are discounts or free plan terms, not cash credits, so this pack has no "up to" total; pick the programs you qualify for.

More SaaS startup programs are with early-access subscribers now and will join this pack once they are public. Subscribe to get new offers first.

Render's own page says all qualified startups are eligible for its Founder credit offer: $500 in startup credits on the Prototype tier, with partner tiers that range from $2,500 to $100K for teams that come in through an enrolled accelerator or VC partner.

Render ($500 in startup credits (Prototype tier); partner tiers range from $2,500 to $100K)

Who qualifies

Per Render's page, you need to be a new Render customer with seed funding (min $25K), less than 4 years in operation, and less than $50M raised, at Series A or earlier. The higher partner tiers require applying through an enrolled accelerator or VC partner, so if your investor or accelerator works with Render, ask them before you apply on your own.

How to claim

Create a Render account, then complete the short application on the Render for Startups page. Credits are applied after approval and are valid for 1 year, so it's worth applying close to when you plan to deploy.

Other app-hosting credits to compare

If you're choosing where to host an app or API, these programs from the directory cover similar ground. Values are each vendor's own wording, pulled from our dataset when the page is built.

Not funded yet? Two no-application options let you deploy today: Railway's 30-day free trial with $5 credits for new accounts (no credit card required), and Akamai's US$100 credit for new Akamai Cloud accounts.

Railway (30-day free trial with $5 credits, then $1 per month)

Akamai Cloud (Linode) (US$100 credit for new accounts)

Where to start

If you're seed-funded and new to Render, apply to Render for Startups for the $500 Founder credit, and check whether your accelerator or VC is a Render partner for the larger tiers. Vercel for Startups (for eligible startups) and Cloudflare for Startups (for early-stage companies) are separate applications, so you can apply to them alongside Render if you use more than one platform. If you haven't raised, start with Railway's trial or Akamai's signup credit, which need no application.

A sensible order to apply in

This order is based only on the eligibility and claim steps each vendor publishes. Approval and final amounts are up to each vendor.

Pick one main cloud first. AWS Activate, Google Cloud's AI tier, Microsoft for Startups and Cloudflare for Startups are the largest programs here, and most of your spend will land on one of them. Check the gates before you apply: AWS asks for pre-Series B companies founded in the last 10 years with an AWS account on the Paid Tier plan; Google's AI tier is for AI startups using Gemini, with funding and founding-date limits and no large Google Cloud credit grant before; Cloudflare says its Tier 3 needs no minimum funding.

Then your model and inference providers. Together AI's accelerator tiers its credits by how much you have raised. Baseten's program covers dedicated inference and training plus Model APIs. For Claude, the extra API credits are claimed through a VC in Anthropic's partner network, and Anthropic's startups page currently says the cohort is full, so ask your VC whether that route still works.

Agent sandboxes, if you run code for users. E2B for Startups is for startups that raised under $5M, are under 3 years old and are first-time E2B users. Daytona Startup Grid is a separate application.

Database and hosting. Neon's program has a self-funded route as well as a VC-backed one. Convex asks you to be on at least its Starter plan with a card on file before you apply. Vercel for Startups is a direct application.

Analytics, evals and search once you have users. PostHog and Algolia credits run for 12 months, so it can pay to apply when you are ready to use them. LangSmith's startup credits are for startups backed by LangChain's premier VC partners.

Before you apply

Read the eligibility line on each card; funding stage, company age and "first-time customer" rules are the usual reasons for a rejection.

PostHog, Algolia and LangSmith credits come with a 12-month or 1-year window, so apply when you can actually use them.

Pack totals only add offers that lead with one explicit one-time USD amount; see the pack page for the breakdown.

Where to start

If you're prototyping, the free tiers and signup credits need no application. Several say no card is needed, including Tavily, Firecrawl, Exa, Trigger.dev and Unstructured. The startup programs have their own funding limits. Temporal's covers funded startups that have raised $30M or less. E2B's is for startups that have raised less than $5M, are under 3 years old and are new to E2B. Apify's discount is for startups that raised under USD 5M and use Apify data as a core part of the product. Mem0 says its program is valid only for new users.

Fourteen of these offers, including all five added today, are in our new AI agent infrastructure pack:
