# Free AI coding agent plans: what each one actually gives you

Five AI coding tools went public on Perq today: Google Antigravity, Devin's editor, Bolt, v0 and OpenCode Zen. Together with Perch AI, GitHub Copilot and Zed, that is eight coding agents or app builders you can use without paying or applying. We put them in a new pack. The free plans are all small, but they measure usage in very different ways, so here is what each one gives you.

- [Google Antigravity](https://perq.sh/offers/antigravity-free-plan) (Free plan: a weekly-refreshed agent quota with Gemini 3.8 Flash, unlimited Tab completions and all product features)
- [Cognition (Devin)](https://perq.sh/offers/devin-free) (Free plan: light agent quota, unlimited inline edits and unlimited Tab completions)
- [Bolt](https://perq.sh/offers/bolt-free) (Free plan: 1M tokens a month (300K daily limit), website hosting, unlimited databases)
- [Vercel (v0)](https://perq.sh/offers/v0-free) (Free plan: free access to v0, deploy to Vercel, 7 messages a day)
- [OpenCode](https://perq.sh/offers/opencode-zen-free-models) (Rotating free models on OpenCode Zen (limited-time free coding models))
- [Perch AI](https://perq.sh/offers/perch-ai-starter-free) (Starter plan: free, up to 20,000 PT of Perch-funded hosted usage each month)
- [GitHub Copilot](https://perq.sh/offers/github-copilot-free) (Copilot Free plan ($0, limited chat and agent usage))
- [Zed](https://perq.sh/offers/zed-pro-trial) (14-day Pro trial with $5 of hosted model usage)

## How each free plan is metered

- **Bolt:** the most concrete number here. The Free plan includes 1 million tokens a month, with a daily limit of 300,000. Tokens don't roll over and sites carry Bolt branding.
- **v0:** a 7 message/day limit on the Free plan, plus deploys to Vercel.
- **Perch AI Starter:** up to 20,000 PT of Perch-funded hosted usage each month. PT is Perch's own unit, so it doesn't compare directly with tokens.
- **Google Antigravity:** a "meaningful quota, refreshed weekly" with Gemini 3.8 Flash and unlimited Tab completions. Google doesn't publish the size of the quota.
- **Devin (the former Windsurf editor):** a "light quota" for agent work, unlimited inline edits and unlimited Tab completions. Again, no number.
- **GitHub Copilot Free:** limited chat and agent usage; the free plan supports the CLI and agent mode.
- **OpenCode Zen:** a rotating list of models that are free for a limited time. Which models are free changes, and data retention differs per model.
- **Zed:** not a permanent free tier but a 14-day Pro trial with $5 of hosted model usage, no credit card. Zed itself stays free with your own API keys.

## Which one to try first

- **You want a number you can plan around:** Bolt (tokens per day and month) or v0 (messages per day).
- **You want an editor or a terminal tool:** Antigravity, Devin and Zed are editors you download. Copilot Free supports the CLI and agent mode, Perch AI Starter covers its web, desktop and CLI apps, and OpenCode Zen's free models run inside OpenCode.
- **You want to compare models cheaply:** OpenCode Zen's free models and Perch's rotating model list let you try several without paying, as long as you accept that the list changes.

Vague quotas ("meaningful", "light", "limited") can change without notice, so check each vendor's page before you depend on one. Every offer above links to its source page and shows when we last checked it.

## Also public today

Two more offers came out of embargo today; subscribers got them yesterday:

- [Google Antigravity](https://perq.sh/offers/antigravity-for-science) (Highest Antigravity usage tier plus Gemini 4 Argon access, free, for 10,000 scientists)
- [Runpod](https://perq.sh/offers/runpod-venture-tier) ($5K in credits (Venture tier, backed by a verified VC))

Antigravity for Science is an application for researchers: Google is giving 10,000 scientists its highest Antigravity usage tier and the Gemini 4 Argon model free of charge. Runpod's Venture tier is $5K in credits for startups backed by a verified VC.

## One change worth knowing

Mistral's Free mode no longer includes API access. Its limits page now says Free mode covers Vibe and Studio, and creating API keys requires billing activation and pay-as-you-go. We updated the listing and took it out of the free LLM API pack.
